How to enable AI to provide recommended answers from your knowledge base when failing to find a FAQ answer

Tactful’s AI Bot answers your customers using the FAQ you added to your intent manager

Still, when it fails to find a proper answer from the FAQ, there is an option in the Artificial Intelligence setting to find recommended answers from your Knowledge base articles.

This article will show you how to enable this “Recommended Answer” feature.

Enabling Recommended Answers

This feature enables the AI system to provide your customers with recommended answers from your business knowledge base if it cannot provide accurate answers from your FAQs.

  1. On the left menu, click on Configuration.
  2. Go to Artificial Intelligence.
  3. Check the box next to Recommended Answers.
  4. Save Changes.

⚠️ This feature will NOT work if you have your AI Search option is OFF.
