How to enable the AI Bot to search products/services when customers ask in conversations

Today, customers can look up the products they want to buy without asking an agent to show them your business products.

That’s called self-service, which is the beginning of a customer journey. They can type relevant keywords to search & browse the products or services they want.

This article shows you how to enable the AI Bot to search, so let’s get into it!

Enable AI Search

This feature allows your AI Bot to find & display your products or services when customers type relevant keywords in the conversation.

To enable the AI search feature:

  1. On the left menu, click on Configuration.
  2. Go to Artificial Intelligence.
  3. Check the box next to Search.
  4. Save Changes.

⚠️ Turning OFF this option will NOT make the AI Bot perform a search & display items of products or services when customers type in the conversation to find relevant items. Therefore, use this option with caution.

⚠️ Turning OFF this option also overrides & turns OFF other options like Recommended Answers.
